NY, NY What a place, a day at the races, lunch at 21, drinking with the Bar Man and staying at the Carter. Can it get any better than this?
After our $450.00 lunch at 21 we met our new hero Dan the Bar Man and went to several places with him. He was on bar number 500+ something at that time. We tried to make it to One Thousand Bars just that weekend. We made a noble effort, but we failed.
Afleet Alex won the Belmont Stakes ending the possibility of a Tripple Crown. The Visa people put their $4 million check back into their pockets and went down the road. They will not be back for the Tripple Crown next year, but I hope we will.
